Services funds are used to improve the conditions
of eligible low-income clients' homes. The program
is designed to reduce home heating and cooling
costs by improving energy efficiency and ensuring
health and safety. Priority is given to low-income
elderly and disabled individuals.
Our service
is designed to lessen the impact of the high cost
of home heating and cooling on low-income and
elderly families.
The offset
is accomplished through a variety of measures
including, but not limited too:
- attic insulation
- caulking
- weather-stripping
- wall insulation
- minor heating repairs
- replacement and installation
of more energy efficient appliances.
The
end result of these measures is much needed
cost savings to the occupants of the home.
*Please note,
many of our programs require individuals to meet
federal income guidelines in order to receive
services. |
