Energy Assistance is one of the most highly
utilized program. NGCA provides financial assistance
to eligible households to help pay the cost of
home energy bills and other energy related services.
Benefits vary depending on the intensity level
and are based on the rating tool. Households may
qualify for regular EAP assistance and/or the
Energy Crisis (emergency) Intervention Program
(ECIP)
This program
offers assistance with:
- natural gas
- electricity
- propane
- wood, etc.
Whichever is the primary source
of home heating utilized. This assistance is offered
only once a year and as funds permit.

require individuals to meet federal income guidelines
in order to receive services.
